Your sequence
Pick the date of your first email to build the schedule.
How it works
- Pick the date the first email goes out.
- Enter the gap in days before each follow-up, separated by commas.
- Leave Skip weekends on to move any Saturday or Sunday send to Monday.
- Copy the schedule into your task list, calendar, or sending tool.
Choosing the gaps
Most replies to a sequence come from the first two touches, so front-load the cadence: a first follow-up within a few days, a second within the week, then wider gaps as the message ages. The calculator does not prescribe numbers; it makes whichever numbers you choose concrete, including the weekend moves that are easy to overlook.
Public holidays differ by country and are not built in, so eyeball the generated dates before copying. Pair the schedule with the follow-up after a meeting template or another message from the library, and grade the results with the benchmark calculator.
Frequently asked questions
How many follow-ups should a sequence have?
Three to five touches is a common range, and the first follow-up often earns the most replies. The calculator does not prescribe a cadence; it converts whichever gaps you choose into real dates.
How does skipping weekends work?
If a computed date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it moves forward to the next Monday. Gaps count calendar days, so a 4-day gap from a Thursday lands on Monday.
Does it account for holidays?
No. Public holidays differ by country, so check the generated dates against your recipients' calendars and adjust individual entries.
