What Front is built for
Front is a customer operations platform. It brings email, SMS, WhatsApp, social messages, chat, and voice into one queue, then adds routing rules, SLAs, analytics, and AI features such as Copilot, Smart QA, Smart CSAT, and Autopilot. It is a strong fit for support and account management teams that handle high volumes across many channels and want to measure every conversation.
That breadth comes with a per-seat model: Starter at $25, Professional at $65, and Enterprise at $105 per seat per month, with Copilot, Smart QA, and Smart CSAT sold as add-ons below Enterprise and Autopilot billed per conversation.
What Tutti is built for
Tutti is a shared inbox for teams whose most important channel is email, and whose most important email is relationships: journalists asking for a quote, partners proposing a co-marketing push, event organizers holding a speaking slot. That mail usually lands across several Gmail accounts (press@, partners@, events@, and personal inboxes), and it goes unanswered because nobody owns it or because writing a careful reply takes time.
Tutti puts every connected Gmail account into one shared inbox, and then does the part that actually saves time:
- AI labels every conversation into the labels your team defines, such as Press, Partnerships, or Events.
- AI drafts the reply from the full thread, in your tone, using only the facts it was given.
- Unknowns stay as [placeholders] like [launch date] or [spokesperson], so the model never invents a detail.
- A person approves every send. Members submit drafts for review; owners and admins can approve and send in one click.
AI drafting: add-on vs included
The biggest practical difference is how AI is packaged. In Front, the full Copilot experience is an add-on on Starter and Professional, so AI cost scales with every seat you add. In Tutti, AI labeling and AI reply drafts are the product. They are on for every workspace, and you can turn on auto-draft per label so that, for example, every Partnerships thread has a draft waiting before anyone opens it.
Tutti's drafts are also deliberately conservative. The model reads the entire thread, not just the last message, and it is instructed never to claim facts about a contact that were not provided. If the draft needs a date or a name nobody gave it, it leaves a bracketed placeholder for your teammate to fill in. For press and partnership email, where one invented detail can cost a relationship, that matters more than raw speed.
Pricing for a five-person team
For a team of five, Front's monthly list prices range from $125 on Starter (a single channel type, limited AI) to $325 on Professional. Adding Copilot for all five seats adds $100 per month on either plan. Enterprise, where Copilot is included, lists at $525 per month for five seats.
Tutti is $250 per month per workspace with up to 5 teammates and every feature included: the shared inbox, AI labeling, AI drafts, templates, contacts, search, the approval workflow, Gmail label mirroring, and roles and permissions. There are no per-message fees, and your first workspace gets a 14-day free trial with no credit card.
Privacy and data handling
Tutti is designed to take the least it can:
- It imports only threads that match one of your labels. Everything else stays in Gmail and is never stored.
- AI runs on zero-data-retention providers, so email content is processed for the reply and never stored or trained on by the model provider.
- Mail credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, sign-in is Google OAuth only, and every query is scoped to your workspace.
Setup and switching
Front asks a team to move its work into a new platform, with channels, rules, and teammates configured there. Tutti keeps Gmail as the system of record: connect each Gmail account with one Google click, name your labels, and the AI sorts and drafts the unread backlog. Replies are sent from the original Gmail account, and labels are mirrored back to Gmail, so teammates who still work in Gmail see the same organization. Most teams approve their first AI draft within the first hour.
The bottom line
If you need one platform for every customer channel with SLAs, QA, and CSAT, Front is built for that. If your team lives in Gmail and wants every important email answered quickly, carefully, and with a human sign-off, Tutti does that job with less setup and one predictable price.

Frequently asked questions
Is Tutti a good Front alternative for small teams?
Yes, for teams that live in Gmail. Tutti gives up to 5 teammates a shared inbox across every connected Gmail account, AI labeling, thread-aware AI reply drafts, and an approval workflow on one flat plan, without per-seat AI add-ons.
Does Front include AI drafts?
On Front's Starter and Professional plans, AI compose features come with usage limits and the full Copilot is a paid add-on ($20 per seat per month on Front's pricing page as of September 2026). Copilot is included on Enterprise. Tutti includes AI drafts on its only plan.
Can I use Tutti without leaving Gmail?
Tutti connects to your existing Gmail accounts through Google sign-in and mirrors its labels back to Gmail, so nobody has to migrate. Teammates can keep using Gmail while the team works from the shared Tutti inbox.
Does Tutti ever send an email automatically?
No. AI prepares drafts, but a person approves every message before it is sent. Front's Autopilot can resolve conversations automatically; Tutti deliberately never does.
